The Titan Airways Boeing 737-300 was G-ZAPW that you saw. It's been leased in by Jet2 this afternoon to help out with the delays. It working the LS367/368 Pisa service.

That should have been the Titan Airways, Boeing 737-300, G-ZAPW Returning back to base. But the flight was cancelled and the aircraft instead night stopped at LBA.

Jet2's Leeds based Boeing 737-300, G-GDFB re-positioned back into Leeds in the early hours of this moring as LS048A from Edinburgh after helping out up there yesterday.

Just for everyone's reference we have 4x based Jet2 B757's operating out of LBA.

G-LSAB is running the 185/6 Malaga & 217/8 Arrecife
G-LSAC is running the 257/8 Palma & 405/6 Paphos
G-LSAD is running the delayed 197/8 Ibiza
G-LSAH is running the 271/2 Alicante & 251/2 Faro

I suspect G-LSAC may be heading back to her base of MAN once delays have been caught-up on this evening as Privilege Style EC-ISY is still being used over the hill.

The Barcelona flight is now showing as Indefinite Delay.


For those interested this Tuesday appears to mark the return of Air Europa to LBA as AEA293 is the inbound flight from Palma, presumably now replacing the TOM 757. Seems daft to me that as we reach the peak season, we lose capacity so that some other airport can increase theirs. However, it will be nice to have a Spanish airline back at LBA after their complete absence in 2011

I didn't know the Titan was operating yesterday but just happened to be out on a Geocache walk with my camcorder, so I filmed it landing from the cemetery and taking off from Harrogate Road. I'm just uploading now, it's 1080 HD so will take a while. I'll post the videos in the photo thread tomorrow morning.

Flightradar;

G-LSAC is currently outbound 257 to PMI. Will then i pressume head onto the LPA flight.
G-LSAB is currently outbound on 185g to AGP. Will then pressume head onto the DLM flight.
G-LSAH is currently outbound on 231 to BCN. Either then head onto the IBZ or AGP aft flight i'm not sure what the inbound works onto in the aft.
G-LSAD is treated to the 271 to ALC, followed by CFU.

Just a bit of a update, considering where still down a 737 by the sounds of things. Correct in assuming some of the delayed BCN maybe able to come back with AH on 232 today?

Meanwhile in the early hours this moring jet2 did an based aircraft change. Boeing 737-300 positioned in from Edinburgh as LS041A While Boeing 737-300QC G-CELR positioned out to Edinburgh as LS042A.

Well it looks like another 2 more Jet2.com aircraft are positioning into Leeds tomorrow evening (Tuesday 19/06/12) I guess they will here either to help out or for maintaince.

The Air Europa, Boeing 737-800WL's from Palma will now operate weekly, every Tuesday afternoon until the last week in September as Thomson Airways own, Boeing 757-200's will re-appear for the month of October.

AEA293 Arrives LBA @ 14:35 / AEA294 Departs LBA @ 15:25

Jet2.com, Boeing 737-300, G-CELJ has just positioned into Leeds from Blackpool as LS031E and on landing has gone straight to the Multiflight apron. So she must be in for a bit off maintaince.

Was in Menston this afternoon around 13:35hrs and noticed what looked to be a B737 in Astraeus livery arriving on Rwy 14.

It was a B737 variant and was white with a blue fin from all accounts, but I'm pretty certain it wasn't Jet2's Holiday livery!
