With all due respect I doubt there will be an influx of spotters for extra Jet2 flights lol, but thanks for the heads up :good:

Yes planespotter1333, that was the one. It only stayed a short while. Don't know anything else about it though.

Good to see we are still picking up good charter business, whether Jet2 or otherwise.

PH-EZV E190 on this mornings Amsterdam rotation.
He commenced his take off run from intersection A on runway 14 which more and more aircraft seem to be doing.

KLM seem to have their variations in loads, more so than other airlines! I remember when they complained they couldn't fill a F70/F100 and now they occasionally get full loads on an E190.. not bad if you ask me!!

Their fares have become a lot more competitive I have found over the past year or so!

did any of the jet2 departures make a U turn this morning as the was an arrival around 0840 this morning that wasnt on arr board.
also the KLM arrival around 0940 looked to be an E190 from my unexpert opinion from Leeds City Ctr

It looks like Boing 737-300, G-CELE returned to LBA but don't know which flight it was operating as on flightradar it's showing as EXS00000. Also today is officially the last day of the winter schedule 2012/13 schedule.
As you may not know KLM City Hopper have been using the Embrear 190's on the morning KLM1545/1546 rotations all this month. Today's flight was the last one planned and was operated by PH-EZA. As of tomorrow all KLM flights into Leeds will revert to been operated by the Fokker 70 fleet while the Monday to Friday the service will increase back to 4x flights daily again.

I understand that Jet2 are running a charter flight from Leeds/Bradford to Perpignan on Easter Monday, April 1st for the Leeds Rhino's Rugby League team and a limited set off fans travelling for the away game at Catalan Dragons.

British Airways ex bmi A319, G-DBCD had the honur of operating the last shuttle (SHT1344/1345) rotations out Heathrow Terminal 1 this evening. From tomorrow all Leeds Heathrow shuttle flights will be operated into and out of Terminal 5.

Looks like Jet2 positioned in G-GDFF (B738) into LBA this morning as LS042A from Glasgow.. isn't she the aircraft that's going to be based here this Summer..? - The move could be permanent then..!

Also looks like we could have two Monarch's on-deck up at LBA this afternoon!
Departures:
14:00 MUNICH ZB7572
14:05 LARNACA ZB7508

The Munich aircraft will arrive an hour later and looks like the Larnaca service will be operated by based A320-WL G-ZBAA!

The Munich flight will be operated by a321 G-OZBI. It's due in from Munich at 13:00.

Based a320 G-ZBAA will be operating the 14:05 to Larnaca.

Sorry No its not a permanent move yet, as she has just positioned back to Manchester as EXS042A. G-GDFF was only positioned here this morning to help out and went onto operate the EXS331/332 Rome & EXS471/472 Berlin rotations.

Jetairfly 737-700 OO-JAR is currently operating the LS231-2 LBA-BCN-LBA service. It looks like it's a one off flight and will position back to Lille at 1600.

Also the LBA based Monarch A320 positioned out to LGW last night for operational reasons. It looks like it will position back up to Leeds as MON117P at 1250 before departing to LCA at 1405 as ZB7508.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
