Here's a few biz movements for today at LBA

HB JRG, Premium Jet - Bombardier Challenger 604, ETA 11:40
G-SCCA, Citation Mustang = ETA 14:00
G-RSXP, Textron Aviation - Citation = ETD 16:00 "VCG750"

Plus Military
ZG573, AAC B/N Defender = ETA 13:45

Does anyone know why we have an all white Saab 2000 [ I think ] parked around stand 12/13 for most of the week which has not moved ?

It's an Eastern Airways Saab and has been parked on stand 16 for about the last fortnight. My guess is that, since the introduction of the Embraer 175s, this particular Saab is a spare aircraft so Eastern is keeping it at LBA as a standby machine. If so Eastern must have obtained a good parking fee deal for it.

It's Saab 2000 G-CERZ and only operated 2x round trips this week between Leeds & Southampton, (EZE4702/4703) on Wednesday 9th & today Friday 11th. Meanwhile Saab 2000, G-CERY has operated the reminder of this weeks flights between Leeds and Southampton

See we've had a few unlisted RAF Military movements over the past 2 days at LBA.

Tuesday 15/11/16
ZG750, Tornado GR4 = "Wolf11"
ZF378, Tucano = "LOP31"
Wednesday 16/11/16
ZF515, Tucano - "LOP41"

Also noticed last night on arrival into LBA on the FR156 we had 2x Eastern Airways, Saab 2000's on the deck again which seemed to be locked up and night stopping at LBA. G-CFLV was parked on stand 2/3ish and G-CERY was on stand 5 whilst the based BAe Jetstream 41 was on stand 1.
Meanwhile Jet2 had a 1x Boeing 737 & Boeing 757 parked outside on the Multiflight ramp whilst I could see tails of a further 2x Boeing 737's inside the hangar as well as the lights were on. Sadly didn't get the reg's, as I couldn't see them.

Jet2 Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAC operated today's EXS087 Leeds to New York (Newark) service whilst G-LSAE has done the EXS077 Manchester - New York (Newark) service.

Meanwhile looks like Boeing 757-200WL, G-LSAN has just positioned out from Leeds as EXS61J to East Midlands where its also due to fly of to New York (Newark) tomorrow morning as EXS073

Jet2 Boeing 737-300, G-CELJ has left Leeds for the final time heading to Kemble as EXS33E, Also looks like Boeing 737-300QC, G-CELA is positioning out somewhere as EXS41A now. Meanwhile Boeing 737-300, G-CELK got to operate the first flight to Berlin today.

Eastern Airways BAe Jetstream 41, G-MAJT positioned in from Humberside earlier as EZE51P then an hour later BAe Jetstream 41, G-MAJU positioned up to Aberdeen as EZE52P.

Douglas C-47 N347DC owned by Douglas Heritage, just starting up for departure(0940)

Apologies and correction, this registration which used to be used by the DC-3 is now painted on the side of an SR.22 and appears to be a new resident at LBA.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
