RAF A,400M ZM401(Ascot 470) just carrying out NDB Approach and overshoot(1655)
Will be carrying out further approaches

We have a KLM F70 with us this morning, PH-KZU. I don't suppose we shall be seeing many more of these.

If it means that the flight can operate, it has got to be a good thing. Better poor weather performance?

I don't know how the Fokker and Embraer aircraft stack up against each other in terms of approach and landing capabilities.

Based on the past and yesterday evening The F70s are Cat 1 or Cat 2 capable and the E190s are Cat 3 capable at Lba. However the E190s have refused Cat 3 in the past so there may be a landing distance / weight of the aircraft issue to be overcome.

Gobal Express CS-GLD has just departed from runway 14. We had a Challenger arrive this morning around 0930 I saw it on the Multiflight apron and it looked like SE-?RA can anyone enlighten me as to the full registration please ?

Cessna 680A Sovereign Latitude N920CL just arrived 1905.
This registration is blast from the past, last time I heard it was when it was worn by a Capitol DC-8-63!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
