A very rare beast indeed. One of a few IL-62 still flying and the only freighter version left operating in the world!

VQ-BGP Royal Flight Boeing 777-300 has just arrived DSA from Moscow Sherymetevo. This was previously an Emirates airframe, and I’m not sure which Royal Flight it belongs to. Didn’t have any prior knowledge of this, just saw it on a FR24 scan on approach.
Also today on the regular Magma SXY335 from Cairo was T-AMP, arriving 10.18.

First 777-300 to visit the airport

I wondered that, didn’t realise that all the others we’ve had were -200’s though.

VQ-BGP Royal Flight Boeing 777-300 has just arrived DSA from Moscow Sherymetevo. This was previously an Emirates airframe, and I’m not sure which Royal Flight it belongs to. Didn’t have any prior knowledge of this, just saw it on a FR24 scan on approach.
Also today on the regular Magma SXY335 from Cairo was T-AMP, arriving 10.18.

It’s not a ‘Royal Flight’ airframe, belongs to a Russian charter airline called Royal flight. One of 3 777’s along with various 767, 757 and 737’s. New one on me must admit!

And both on the ground together , stands 4 & 5. I really hope somebody is managing to get on the ground pictures of all these freighters. I know some locals are putting pics on Facebook, taken during their ‘daily exercise’, but I do miss some of the quality pics we normally have access to.

Re the @stars&sids post, it's a real shame people are so protective of sharing aircraft photos. Granted, it's been a while, but when I take aircraft photos, they all go up on here and people are free to use them so long as they give Forums4airports a mention.
