Yep it is. Hopefully they'll offer more in time. I checked the likes of Mauritius and Bali but they weren't offered. Hopefully if Qatar do the flights they will be in the future.

Interesting looking at Thomas cook for next year, a weekly Antalya seems to be added ( or should I say re added from previous seasons) on a W pattern which looking at the times could well be from a BRS based frame ? Good to see another destination return.

MT903 AYT 14:45 - CWL 17:25
MT902 CWL 18:25 - AYT 00:30

Flights operated every Friday from May to October on an A321 aircraft

That's great news. It'll be nice to see a returned route and an A321 and Turkey has been doing well this year. Fingers crossed this means there might be more to come from TCX in the future!

More digging into the schedule always seems to reveal that Menorca (MAH) has been dropped next year, TFS changes slots on a Friday to 07:00 and a second DLM seems to have been added, seems a bit strange to me, Perhaps one for the Flybe charter opportunities that were being talked about

2017

06:00 Mahon (MAH)
13:10 Tenerife (TFS

2018

06:00 Tenerife (TFS)
16:40 Dalaman (DLM)

As well as CWL, TCX have announced a number of other airports to be served to Antalya on W-patterns: LBA, EDI, EMA, BHX. There is also a post elsewhere that suggests that they will also serve Dalaman from Norwich on a W-pattern. It looks as though Turkey is regaining its popularity.

Looking at the Thomas Cook holiday page and for Spain they only seem to be offering Majorca, Lanzarote and Tenerife. There is a big gap in Flybe's Saturday schedule for the E jet so it could fit there. Turkey seems to be a big target for them next year, i have a feeling there is more to come from TCX!

Thursday
Zante/Zakynthos 05.45

Looking at Menorca and i've just checked BRS's capacity for 2018 and it's been cut from 2 A321 flights a week to 1 A320 and 1 A321 a week compared to 2 weekly A321s, so i'm wondering if Menorca isn't selling as well as they liked in the South West area so they dropped it from CWL and added Turkey which may be selling better.

TCX are taking on an ex Thomas Cook Belgium A320 next summer. Hopefully this will be CWL based. However the aircraft is line number 1954 (OO-TCW) first flight in Feb 2003, with LYVEL being line number 1998, first flight in mar 2003 so is slightly younger.

Would be nice to have a TCX aircraft rather than a non TCX again, also if they do base a TCX aircraft then the chance of a year round base could get higher.

Just had a look at what Thomas Cook Holidays were offering for Winter 2018/19 and it's nothing yet, same with TUI.

Thomas Cook has released it's Winter 2018/19 but nothing for Cardiff yet.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
