FR24 is showing Air France A319 (F-GRHL, AFR32HP) as due from CDG at 01:33. I can't see any mention of it on Ian's Blog, so will be interesting to see if it turns up. However, it is showing as active at CGD. One for STS?

[EDIT] - I've found it on the BHX arrivals page as AF1564. It appears it's just a long delay. Strange that AF1564 and AF23HP were shown as two separate flights on FR24.

Looks like Jet2 B737-800 (G-JZHV, LS1848) KGS - BRS may be diverting to BHX. It's made one approach to BRS, where METAR is giving wind 250, 24kts gusting 37kts. It's now heading NE at 8000ft.

We also appear to have received the following from LGW :

G-UZME A321Neo (EZY8150) from Agadir
G-TUMS B738 (TOM771) from Hurghada
G-TAWY B738 (TOM607) from Marrakesh

The Easy departed back to LGW around 01:00 landing back there about 25 minutes later in heavy rain. None of these seemed to make any attempt to divert to LTN or STN, so weather London area was likely bad. The Easy did one hold over the Isle of Wight and did a straight line to BHX. Kevin’s note above would explain why it didn’t go to BRS.

Noticed that FR3704 (EI-DHC, LIS - BHX) carried out a go-around earlier. METAR at the time was -

Wind 140° 2kt. Visibility 2500m. Mist. Smoke. No significant clouds. Temperature 10°C, dew point 9°C. QNH 1008hPa.

Note temp and dew point are almost the same (this is when fog forms) and the 2kt wind is just enough to keep the air circulating, but not enough to disperse any mist/fog.

FR24 is showing WIZZ A321-NEO (G-WUKO, WUK5661) has diverted into BHX from PMI - LGW, due low vis at LGW.

Just watching Airport Action on YouTube and noticed a B787 in Star Alliance colours on the remote stands. Checking on FR24 this appears to be Air India VT-ANU which should have operated AI118 to Amritsar (ATQ) on the 13th. However, FR24 is stating that this is 'cancelled'.

Believe it went tech yesterday, heard someone mention it was connected to its tyres, so maybe spares have been sent in on today's Air India flight to fix it

a few diversions in/out on Tuesday 29th, due to fog

08:05 EI3640 Belfast (BHD) Aer Lingus Regional AT76 (EI-FSL) Diverted to LBA
08:35 KL1421 Amsterdam (AMS) KLM B738 (PH-BXL) Diverted to MAN

15:00 FR5342 Bucharest (OTP) Ryanair B738 (EI-ENL) BRS Diversion - Landed 15:49
16:25 LH972 Frankfurt (FRA) Lufthansa E190 (D-AECF) BRS Diversion - Landed 16:38

In addition to the above yesterday Flybe cancelled one each of their double daily Edinburgh and Glasgow flights after only last week restarting them having shut them down completely through most of November really not a good look to be honest if I were flying BHX to Scotland I wouldn't look at them EasyJet, Loganair or train for me.

Flybe are chopping, changing and cancelling all over their network and to me its beginning to look more and more all about the LHR slots.

Today reported on the LBA site that they have a cancelled flight and all Flybe Newcastle flights also have been cancelled

I tried searching for VP-CRT. FR24 showed 'No information available', but FlightAware had this interesting note -

'VP-CRT - Unknown Owner (Cayman Islands (UK))
This aircraft (VP-CRT) is not available for live public tracking due to European government data rules'.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
