Discussions relating to Glasgow Airport
MOL must think Brexit won't be so bad after all. Either that or he's got some inside information that Scotland is about to declare independence and remain in the EU.

How typically Ryanair 😒
Well at least they are reversing the cuts to some extent. It's rumoured that there could be more destinations coming back as well.

Ryanair has finally started to load S24 from GLA onto the app, according to multiple sources, further changes are highly likely.

Everything apart from Warsaw Modlin is loaded on the app as "sold out" usual frequencies.

Alicante (Tu, Sat)
Charleroi (Mon, Fri)
Krakow (Wed, Sun)
Málaga (Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat)
Wroclaw (Tue, Sat)

Warsaw is missing currently, but this is likely due to Ryanair holding slots for a GLA-WAW service, logistically challenging as neither GLA or WAW are currently Ryanair bases.

This comes a day after we contacted both GLA and FR for comment, GLA responded saying talks are ongoing, Ryanair have yet to reply.

This has now been extended to operate in May as well, coming at the same time as the CAA stats for January show a 114% increase on the GLA-KRK route which is also operated by Jet2.

Couple of changes since my last update.

Ryanair will increase their Krakow to Glasgow route from 2 to 3 weekly this winter, with an additional Wednesday rotation and a new flight number.

0805-1005 KRK-GLA FR3950
1030-1410 GLA-KRK FR3951

Operated by a BUZZ Boeing 737-800

Ryanair launching GLA-MLA on April 1st 2025, operating 2x week on Tuesday and Saturday.

This route is significant for two reasons:

  1. It is a former PIK route that became a victim of Covid, given it is operated by Malta Air they could easily have operated it into PIK again.
  2. This is Ryanair's first new route at GLA since Winter 2017. The airline closed the base a year later and since then there has been no new routes with the airline at GLA.

🇵🇱Krakow 3x week (-)
🇪🇸Malaga 4x week (-)

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
LBA: Albastar B737-800 EC-MUB positioning in tommorow afternoon from Gatwick 15:45 to operate a charter to Lourdes/Tarbes on Friday afternoon 14:00 AP7721 STC
I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
