Booked for Manchester-Toronto (25th May 2018-2nd June 2018) on the Airbus A330-200. Looking forward to a trip direct from MAN - so much easier! I just wish Air Canada Rouge ran in May! ;)

Peak amount of Air Transat departures a week (July, August): 8fpw (5x YYZ, 3x YVR)

So in peak season we have Vancouver & Toronto on both Wed. & Fri. but no flights on Saturday (unless there is an arrival that positions out).

I think so - no Air Transat aircraft in at all on Saturday I believe.

How are Rouge stacking up this year (apologies - slightly OT) am I right in thinking they are YYZ only, but are up to daily in the peak season?

AC rouge was originally bookable as daily, but Manchester, and a number of other routes, was downgraded back to 5 weekly which indicates lack of capacity for ACr rather than a MAN specific issue.

I'd hoped to see AC mainline over the coming years - during which time I think they are planning an expanded fleet (at least the aggregate of mainline and rouge) so I've got my fingers crossed we will see more from at least one of mainline or rouge...

TS26 is currently enroute from Montrèal. If we've missed a new route then it would be a surprise so if leads me to believe what is going on.

There is currently an A310 parked on remote stands at Manchester. Did it go tech yesterday? Is this A310 a 'rescue flight'?

It seems it was a rescue flight. Just looked on flightradar24, to see C-GUFR A330 waiting to cross 05L from Vancouver, an A310 landing behind from Toronto and the A310 that had landed from Montreal, now departing to Toronto. Be nice to see that many TS aircraft everyday!

TS will move to an all A330 operation next summer.

The 5 weekly YYZ and the 3 weekly YVR is all showing the type as A330. Shame to see our final A310 flight go, but, onwards and upwards.

Onwards and upwards indeed. I think the A321LR enters their fleet soon?

I wonder if we will see more YVR, YYZ (or a return of YYC) from TS or others...

Transat will use the A330 on the Friday flight until mid Jan, and the A310 on the Tue flight.

From 1st March, the A330 will be used on all flights, so seems February may be the last time you see the A310 at MAN.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
