So it looks like Vueling have cut the Thursday flight to Alicante in November and December 2025 meaning the route will be 2 weekly in those months. It goes back to 3 weekly when the Tuesday flight starts from 10/1/26.

That’s disappointing. I guess that’s in reaction to Ryanair adding those winter Alicante flights. I thought the numbers were relatively good for Alicante all year round.

Well if it's a reaction to Ryanair then surely they'd have reduced it for the whole winter? Especially January and February. I suppose only Vueling know but there's also still no sign of Malaga.

True. They have become quite inconsistent with their route planning so I suspect they’ve utilised the aircraft on another route. They may suddenly re-add some extra dates for Christmas.

It looks like they’ve put 3 per week back on sale (now flying Mon, Tue and Sat).

Does anyone remember when VY started to drop in their winter AGP dates last year?

I’m eager to book for February but am not holding out much hope as it stands…

I shall revert to ALC if all else fails :)

If I remember correctly it was quite late.

A quick look back and it appears that some flights weren't put onsale until September last year.

I suspect we’ll see a mish mash of dates again this winter. 2 weekly over Christmas and new year and maybe some other dates.

There’s still the possibility of either FR or VY releasing winter flights. I’m sure it’ll be one of the priorities of the airport. Unfortunately Vueling never give anything away when asked. The response is always “we release flights 6 months in advance…”

This looks to be the case. They have released them earlier than last year so there might be more to come.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
