Sadly it does seem like Malaga is permanently off sale in April.
Something very strange going on with a Sunday flight having been added for May, most of June, most of September and October…

At this stage, I’m not even sure VY know what’s happening!

The more increases the better though 😇

I was about to post, but you beat me to it. Whilst it’s excellent that they’ve added a third flight, they seem to be throwing darts at a calendar.

Vueling have thrown another dart at the calendar and have a single flight on the 19th April to AGP. It coincides with the Easter weekend but any return flight would be on May the 3rd.

There might be a few other dates in April to come.

Probably sat in head office looking at the figures wondering “why hasn’t CWL AGP sold at all well in April?” - “oh, cos it ain’t on sale!”

Easter is the start of the summer travel year and they’d be stupid to not cash in on it, especially with it being so late it will definitely be a popular choice.

Let’s hope they add a few more April dates

I find it bizarre that they pulled April in the first place. It usually marks the start of the “summer season”. I can’t imagine the figures were terrible last year.

Vueling Summer 2025
Alicante will be 3 weekly Monday, Wednesday and Saturday between April and June and then the Wednesday flight will be replaced with a Tuesday flight between July and the 2nd week of September where the Wednesday departure returns instead until the end of October.
Malaga will be 2 weekly Wednesday and Saturday through the whole summer.
In total that means 5 weekly departures.

Can't keep up with them!

Can't keep up with them!
They have such a good offering and have developed a good following from people in South Wales, but people seem to be losing faith with the chopping and changing of schedules. With Ryanair in the mix now they risk alienating themselves and shrinking even further, which would be a great shame.

To be honest I'm surprised that they're still at Cardiff. They seem to have lost interest and don't seem as committed as before.

Alicante has to be a very good money maker for them. It's consistently been 3x weekly for a long time, with generally good timings and often expensive prices, meaning fuller flights.
If they offered the same good timings and kept the schedules consistent then Malaga would perform better too.

I think the disappointing thing is that it's still only 3 weekly and that Palma de Mallorca hasn't returned.

But combined with FR, ALC is now 6x weekly. Which is probably the most seats ever been made available, even under bmibaby who had more frequencies but fewer seats per flight.

PMI is a mystery to everyone. FR has to pick it up soon.

Vueling have released ALC flights up until January. A good sign that shows their commitment to the route and will pick up those passengers who want to book early.
If only they stretched as far as February, then I would be one of those snapping up an early booking!

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
