Here is my take on the CAA data for June. There does appear to be a variant in the passenger figures and I am doing my best to clarify the situation. Using Table 9 the passenger change is -1.75pc but, using the breakdown of passengers from Tables 12.1 & 12.3 the difference is -0.44pc. It might not appear to be a lot, but it annoys me!!

Having been in touch with a contact at MAG, I now have the following revised data file using Stansted's own data. This now has me worrying about the whole year's information and I am awaiting further information.

I have just heard further from my contact within MAG and he has, very apologetically, advised that he had erroneously given me Manchester rather than Stansted figures.

So, back to the figures in post #89

It's time to produce my usual analysis of the CAA data - this time for July. I also have produced a report showing the figures for July from 2019 (showing the Covid effect).

I will short;y be starting to work on September's statistics and just wanted to check whether this thread is of use to anybody. I'll put it to be back of my 'to do' list whilst I am rather short on time - family to visit in York.

With the CAA data now being available, here is my take on the latest monthly statistics. Please remember that, for an unknown reason, there is always a difference between the total passenger figure in Table 9 and the separate figures from Tables 12.1, 12.2 and 12.3.

Here is my usual monthly take on the CAA data - this time for January. As usual there are differences in the figures when comparing the various tables, however I have used Table 3, 9, 12.1, 12.3 and 13.

A full comparison of figures for January between 2019 to 2026 can be found here:

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
