Now now Seasider, the recent changes have only just been implemented on FFA. Some forumers will need some time to adjust just like myself in getting used to the new guidelines, which are just that "guidelines".

I didn't realise we are all being observed by big brother ?

Oh what next, a forumer will be given a weeks detention by the mods if they don't comply ?:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::whistle:

Noted. As a somewhat Newbie as an ‘active member’, rather than just a ‘passive reader’ a little mentoring, coaching and guidance of forum etiquette is always welcome. I have never worked in the aviation industry or know anyone who does, so will never have the ear of someone who can keep me in the know about anything. That’s what this forum does, for me. What I post generally is what others may be interested in, no more no less.
I apologise for any upset caused. Suitably guided.

Please don't worry about it :)

Relating to the article, it's definitely something that is relevant to this thread so as far as I am concerned it's right that you posted it here. As it's not BHX specific it's worth duplicating the post into the easyjet thread in the Airline Forum, that way it will reach a wider audience who may not visit the BHX section.

If you do get detention you'll probably find me already there 😇

Now we can get back to easyjet :)

I stopped at the Hotel Helios in C'an Pastilla. You can see the airport and approaches from the north, can't see approaches over the sea. If they are coming in that direction, a 15 min walk will take you to the side of the approach - sun behind you for most of the day.

There used to be a bus that ran from the airport to Arenal that stopped at the back of the hotel. (Saves time having to go into Palma and then back out again).

Search the 'net for plans of the airport and spotting places.

Thanks mate, will have a nosey at fares on the Easyjet website :)

Easyjet have released flights through to March 2024 ( previous to end November 2023). No big changes that I could see. Booked flights for 6 Nations rugby weekend to Edinburgh, good price £92 return with small bag

Disappointed that nothing new from easyjet.

Milan as it stands not operating in W23/24

Amsterdam down to 1 per day too
To be honest I’m pretty impressed. Before covid they were only flying to Geneva and Belfast.

Look at them now
Glasgow
Edinburgh
Amsterdam
Naples
Nantes
Milan
Faro
Geneva
Belfast
Palma Majorca

All city breaks and holiday breaks.
Very impressive

The trouble is for a large airline they don't seem to be getting many new ones through.Out of their fleet of 327 only 58 are NEOs.
They do have over 100 on order, yet these are set to mostly replace older 319s and 320s not really for expansion and many not due until 2026/29
So limited opportunities to expand into their lesser airports such as BHX.Unless they lease in more.

I was waiting for someone to hold their patience in.Couldn’t do it could they.Nah Overall EasyJet look like they have been aiming that way anyway.Especially with the additions of Naples and Milan

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
