Just had a week away with easyJet holidays. They really are a fantastic operation. Excellent flight both ways, super crew. Really hoping they expand even further at BHX.

Just landed back at BHX and the crew said thanks for flying with us ‘on behalf of the Birmingham and Gatwick based crew’. Is the BHX base mixed with LGW crews? Wondered if anyone could shine any light?

At the moment they don’t have enough crew for 3 reasons. crew sickness , not enough crew trained and another reason which I’m not allowed to say.

I'd concur with this. Used easyJet Holidays to Milan for 4 days, was very impressed - flights on time, not spammed with endless announcements (looking at you @Jet2), and the whole experience was simple. We, incidentally, had an MXP-based crew each way.

Galley FM reporting 5 new BHX routes this Winter and at least 1 extra aircraft for S25

For Winter so far BCN is now an EJU aircraft so away based and LIS and MXP are now EZY aircraft so are BHX based

Prague is a great addition. I wonder if Eurowings will return next summer should easy make it year round and how long before we see Ryanair on the route?

Reykjavik is well needed and it starts when Jet2 takes a 5 week break in Dec.

Innsbruck seems an obvious one.

Although getting more popular Marrakesh is looking a little top heavy going from one to four although TUi is only weekly this winter.

I thought we may see Gran Canaria and/or Lanzarote, will have a look later to see if there are any gaps left for them.

I expected EasyJet to play it relatively safe this winter with the usual ski flights and the remaining Canary Islands added so to see them go for Reykjavik, Prague, Krakow and Marrakech is very surprising. Hopefully the latter doesn’t fall victim to the usual ‘BHX/four carriers’ curse.

Krakow being winter round seems quite unusual, the only seasonal flight to Krakow by Easyjet. Hopefully one to be upgraded to year round in due course
