A319 G-EZBF which is in the tartan livery and named "Inverness" is currently BRS based. Out of all Easyjet's special liveries this is my personal favourite :s_yes

Tuesday 2 February 2016

I've just noticed on a Bristol Airport Spotting web page that a Vueling A 320 will be arriving on 2 February for Toulouse: presumably a charter for some reason.

I'm not aware of Vueling using BRS before unless they diverted at any time in the past from CWL because of weather or whatever.

Friday 22 January and Saturday 23 January 2016

Mayfly showing Carpatair F 100 arriving 1515 today and departing 2030 tomorrow. It's from/toToulon and will be in connection with the European rugby union cup match, Bath v Toulon.

when they have diverted in the past, they have gone to bhx. never had brs in their thoughts. so vueling on the radar is a first, and hopefully many more.

Further to my quoted post above and superking's quoted reply above, next week's Mayfly confirms that a Vueling A320 aircraft will visit on two occasions.

At 0640 on Tuesday next (2 February) VLG 4897 arrives from Paris Orly (presumably positioning in). It then departs to Toulouse at 0715 as VLG 4898.

At 1715 the following day (3 February) VLG 4899 arrives from Toulouse and departs to Paris Orly (presumably positioning out) at 1800 as VLG 4900.

Mayfly is showing three flights to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) next week in addition to the easyJet service.

Friday 12 February

Alba Star B 734 arrives from Bergamo at 0740 and departs for FCO at 0930

Enter Air B 734 departs for FCO at 1130 (I can't see any entry that shows when it arrives at BRS for this flight)

Mistral B 734 arrives from Bergamo at 1240 and departs for FCO at 1330.

I wondered whether the flights might be in connection with the Italy v England Six Nations rugby match on the following day but I can find no entry that shows a return of these flights on the evening of the match or the day after.

Saturday 13 February

Enter Air B 734 departs for Gatwick at 0250 (seems a positioning flight from the P suffix) but there is no entry showing an arrival at BRS before this.

Enter Air B 734 arrives from Grenoble at 0840 again showing a P suffix.

An Enter Air B 734 then does the weekly Sofia ski charter, departing at 1320 and returning at 2110.

Sunday 14 February

No further entry re Enter Air until 2110 when a B 734 arrives from Kiruna via Doncaster-Sheffield.

Germania A 319 arrives from Chambery at 1125 and departs for Chambery via Southampton at 1205.

Today a Germania A 319 arrived from SOU at 1235 and departed for CMF at 1315. They appear to be additional Chambery flights complementing the regular Saturday Thomson and Sunday Titan. I've noticed a Germania A 319 operating to CMF via SOU on a previous occasion this winter.

3 charters are for England game.

Tour operator contacted and we sold 3 charters .... Flights come back Monday .

Have there been two Enter Air Boeing 737s parked up at the far end of the western apron for part of this week?

I passed along the A 38 on two separate days and two aircraft were parked side by side on both occasions. They were nearly a mile away from me but seemed to have some blue painted across the middle of the tail fin of each aircraft.

Hi Yokel! Yes Enter Air have based 2 b737 the past week here at BRS. Seem to have based 2 over the winter weirdly! They seem to have been hardly used appart from the odd day / flight for a Rome charter for the rugby.

Many thanks. An Enter Air B 734 does the weekly Sofia ski charter too doesn't it?

Your very welcome! yes it does! Infact one is just on final approach now from Sofia winds permitting! I notice the EZY Tolouse is holding

Looking at FR24 the TLS is heading north near Hereford. Is that correct? FR 24 not always reliable. Was this wind forecast today? Filton showing gusts of 60 mph this evening SSW.

About 16 more arrivals this evening and after midnight. KLM from AMS landed at 2145 according to FR24.

I noted that at lunchtime an EIR ATR from DUB diverted into BRS - presumably because of the winds at CWL.

Addendum

Wizz from Kosice landed just after ten but lots of others circling. The TLS seems to be heading for Liverpool according to FR24!

TOM from Las Palmas and Ryanair from Malaga also now landed after the Wizz but others still circling including the Enter Air from Sofia.

Confirmed that the TLS is just about to land at LPL (2226 hours).

Are we talking just something for spotters let's say or something like a new airline for example.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
