Which Camera Should I Buy?

Smart phone cameras can be good for taking photos of aircraft the only thing I found with them was zooming in as the zoom is digital and not optical zoom like most dslr and bridge cameras
 
Took this on my S3 whilst at work, the light wasn't great but although not great quality I've definitely seen worse.

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
