Unfortunately, there are a lot of people like that and not just on aircraft.I witnessed pretty inconsiderate behaviour on yesterday afternoons ZRH-MAN Swiss service, when a passenger would not wear a mask, he was sat in the row in front of me. All other passenger were as far as I could tell wearing masks, announcements were made several times as this was a mandatory requirement and yet this character felt he didn't need to.
Being the row in front of me, I pointed this out to a member of the crew as it made me feel uncomfortable. It resulted in the head steward coming down the cabin to deal with the situation. The passenger was saying he was exempt, however the crew pointed out to be exempt he must produce evidence of a negative test no more than 24 hours prior to the flight, he could not.
He was offered two options to sit at the back away from passengers, or the plane would return to Zurich and he would be offloaded. The Steward was very professional dealing with this guy who was argumentative throughout. Luckily the plane was only a quarter full so they could stick him out of the way !
