Frustratingly the flights that Ryanair to load up have been taken down. I wish them and Flybe would just get on with it and put summer 20 onsale so we know what the damage will be.

Faro and Barcelona now loaded as twice weekly but not on sale.
Monday - FAO (0845) - CWL 1125/1150 - FAO 1430
Friday - FAO (1620) - CWL 1900/1925 - FAO 2205

Tuesday - BCN 0810 - CWL 0930/0955 - BCN 1300
Saturday - BCN 0725 - CWL 0845/0910 - BCN 1215

Nothing for Malta, Malaga and obviously Tenerife just yet.

Although nothing is onsale on the app or fully loaded it does suggest that both Malaga and Malta will return the same as last year which is good news.
I am hopeful that maybe they will consider launching Mallorca even if it's just June to October like malaga is.
Still considering what happened this year just keeping everything bar Tenerife is a plus.

Rome, Venice, Palma, Lanzarote, Corfu, Chania (Crete) and Rhodes would be great additions for next summer. Especially the Greek routes with the loss of Thomas Cook.

I could see Rome as a possibility one day with them if they are interested. I'd imagine that it's a similar type of route to Barcelona. Hopefully they'll continue to expand at Cardiff.

It looks like malaga will only operate in June July and August.

Ryanair Summer 2020 has started to go onsale but there are anomalies.
Barcelona is 2 weekly Tuesday and Saturday but the October flights aren't onsale along with half of September

Faro is 2 weekly Monday and Friday
Monday FAO-CWL 08.45-11.25 CWL-FAO 11.50-14.30
Friday FAO-CWL16.20-19.00 CWL-FAO 19.25-22.05
Malta is 2 weekly Wednesday and Sunday but every Wednesday flight says sold out.

Sunday MLA-CWL 07.00-09.25 CWL-MLA 09.50-14.05
Malaga is 3 weekly Monday, Wednesday and Friday but only for June, July and August. It's been dropped in September.

There are some interesting posts in the LBA Ryanair thread as to why Ryanair might be cutting back on routes and frequencies across its network.

To get the share price up i think i read? I've also read somewhere that MOL has been saying that the package holiday is dead, yet Jet2 seems to disprove that! I am hoping they'll add PMI but if this is it for 2020 then it's still good.

And to get the overall yield up it would seem.

Yes, which is why i don't see Malta returning for winter 2020. The prices are extremely cheap, if anyone wants a cheap gettaway the Cardiff to Malta is it!

Next summer though there will be fewer seats to MLA in the BRS/CWL/EXT triangle with both Air Malta and Thomas Cook flights from BRS seemingly gone (we know for certain that Thomas Cook has of course).

That should help with the yields then! Also maybe the lack of Thomas Cook winter capacity as well will help them.
I do feel though that the airport hasn't really pushed MLA as a new winter route.

From 10th November to 25th March 2020 the Malta route will be operated by Ryanair's Malta Air subsidiary.

Malta Air seems a confusing name when an Air Malta already exists, especially with the Maltese government having the majority ownership of the second and a golden share in the first. On another forum someone was writing about 'Ryanair's Air Malta' until put right.

It is to be hoped that travellers who have no interest in aviation realise that they are still effectively booking and flying with Ryanair even though the name and livery of the airline are different.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
