Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, to Dublin, 2x daily during the week and 1x daily at weekends. The article says that Dublin Airport exec's would be “working closely with Aer Lingus Regional to promote the new service to East Midlands and the recently launched Leeds Bradford service because of the significant potential for onward connections at Dublin Airport”.

Good news for EMA :)

Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, is to add a new East Midlands service to its growing Dublin route network from next February.Air Lingus Regional expects to carry up to 70,000 customers during the first year on the new service, which will have twice daily return flights operated by the company’s brand new fleet of regional aircraft. The launch of the new service to East Midlands Airport is part of a franchise agreement between Stobart Air and Aer Lingus. All Aer Lingus Regional flights to and from East Midlands will operate from Dublin Airport’s Terminal 2, and will connect with Aer Lingus’ transatlantic route network.

This service has been reduced to double daily on Monday and Fridays only and from early may will be reduced further to once daily.

I guess starting ops at DSA won't help.

That is bad news for EMA, they just cant keep the full service airlines for some reason. Maybe too much competition down the M42.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Eurowings at EMA ?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
