Well they have paid a substantial amount of money to a company called madebyalphabet.com to market the extrajet brand by the looks of things.

well im remaining positive! the design and content of the website has not been produced by school kids as it does look quite pro. question is who is going to have the last laugh here, fake or real? place your bets now!
This has got scam written in very large letters all over it..how do I know?..years of experience In afraid..If you want to drool over the impossible....well

Whatever they are, they have been registered as a Private Limited Company at Companies House for the last 5 years.

Just been looking on the Pprune Forum and they are giving them a right old pasting on there. They also say the ad for pilots has been taken down after just one day. Their conclusion is scam, avoid at all costs etc. I wish it wasn't so, and that this could happen, but it just feels all wrong.

Last time they were saying they were going to start up from LBA doing this, that and the other routes, LBA said they had never heard of them and had not been engaged in any discussions with them either.

One to watch but with little hope it would seem. I would be delighted to be proved wrong!

I admit the graphics and branding look good. They remind me of Excel possibly. The rest just doesn't hold water. We've been here so many times before with this bunch. I doubt this will move any further once investors realise they can't get off the ground due to the pilots not paying to fly. Heaven's above, can you imagine your employer saying sorry, you can't come to work today until you've paid your joining fee. That added to the investor only recieving a 5% return on their investment. It's a non starter.

Sounds like a pyramid type of business. You all put your money in, I'll take a healthy sum out. That's fair isn't it?

I don't know of any airline business that has ever succeeded on the basis of an initial brainwave put on paper but with no funds to get started.

James Thorpe is the sole Director and has been involved with two previously dissolved companies. Make your own minds up as to whether this is a viable business opportunity or a scam but either way I wouldn’t touch it with an airbridge.

Why do we give it so much 'space' on this forum? Is anybody interested?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
