Wizz Air new route to Bacau will operate in direct competition to Blue Air to same destination. All be it, I don't know when Blue Air plan to re start on their Liverpool - Bacau route.

I would not be suprised if Blue Air ceased ops into liverpool, in the future. However I think Liverpool is going to feature as a big base for Wizz. They are starting, for next year, routes from Luton to Spain and the Canaries and I can see the same route enhancement out of LPL.They have a lower cost base than Ryanair and much lower the Ezy. On the other hand Wizz might see Doncaster as more competition free but LPL has a much bigger population density to operate from.

Time will tell but I think there will be some new developments.

Hi

It will be interesting to see how they develop for 2021, Wizz have a long association with Liverpool, it would be a natural progression for them after Luton to add some Western European destinations , and certainly Ryanair and Easyjet have left gaps they could fill. Wizz also have a base in Dubai now, so maybe Dubai - Liverpool might be on considerations.

Blue air are only offering Liverpool and Luton now as UK destination.

Wiz are going to stop flying to Cluj. Blue Air have a presence there, so they might step in.

Its now been removed from arrivals / departures. So will be a bit longer to wait.
Varna flight also due.tomorrow , in the evening.

Wizz are going to stop flying their Katowice route. Liverpool seems to have done okish with the Wizz route cull, loosing two routes and gaining a new one. They have opened a number of new bases recently so maybe Liverpool will see a new link to one of two of these.

My son who lives near Luton says Wizz are heavily advertising in the area in preparation for their launch into the Med and Canary Islands routes next year. Almost certain that they will do so in the near future in the north..Both Doncaster and Liverpool have to be seriously in the frame.

It would be good for both airports and im sure discussions will have happened . As you say 2021, bit late this year plus volumes are of course down.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
