That remark is rather uncalled for. Firstly, Ryanair will be back in T3 by then, so the daily confluence of EasyJet and Ryanair customers cramming through the same facility should be resolved
But at the minute people will say those things as it’s unacceptable to be waiting hours to get through. So it’s understandable that comments like that will be made and for all the right reasons at the minute.

However I’m due to fly with Easyjet in a few months from Manchester so I hope your right that things should ease when T3 reopens again.

That remark is rather uncalled for. Firstly, Ryanair will be back in T3 by then, so the daily confluence of EasyJet and Ryanair customers cramming through the same facility should be resolved. Also, Ryanair was due to operate from MAN to Kyiv and L'viv this Summer, services which cannot now go ahead for obvious reasons. So those gaps in the schedule will be filled by other services. I'm not sure whether the Girona route is one of those replacements, but there are constant adjustments to airline programmes to reflect shifting passenger demand across multiple markets. For example, jurisdictions which have removed or significantly rolled back covid entry rules will attract business more readily than those which have not.

Well said!
As a side note, the Girona service is not a replacement, the aircraft will originate over there.

The Irish budget carrier, in a statement, announced it would station one aircraft at Pescara in summer 2022 to operate 100 weekly flights, 20 more than before the pandemic.

This would include two new routes to Manchester Int'l in northern England, and Memmingen in Germany.

Manchester-Pescara flights will operate 2 times per week on Wednesday/Sunday

Ryanair have requested slots to serve Toulouse from next summer, according to the ACL report. But is there any way of finding out the potential days & times of these slots?

Ryanair based aircraft - peak-summer 2023
Since I last checked the schedule, even though the number of based aircraft remain the same, there now appears to be 4x more 737MAX (or 737-8200 as Ryanair calls them) based at Manchester this summer replacing older 737-800.

The based aircraft are as follows:

Ryanair UK (RUK): 4
- 4x 737-800

Ryanair (RYR): 12
- 5x 737-800
- 7x 737-8200 (MAX)

Total based Ryanair aircraft: 16

Thanks for the info.

I am following the deliveries of the B737 MAX (8200) to Ryanair on another forum as the extra aircraft initially announced for expansion at their bases across Europe very much depends on these deliveries from Boeing...so hopefully MAN will increase to the predicated 17 for peak summer 2023 and the long awaited Toulouse route will start!

Ryanair's Modlin service is being moved to Chopin from October, albeit with a reduction from 3 to 2 weekly:

Adding on to discussions from another forum, is it about time we see LOT jump into MAN? They did apply for slots in 2020. 3-4 a week using Embraer 190 certainly wouldn't be a risky experiment. Interesting connections to East Asia possible too

There has been an announcement today regarding a curtailing of Ryanair growth from the UK (allegedly due to tax reasons but actually due to aircraft delivery delays)

Originally planned 18th based aircraft joining in May, new routes to TUF/RBA/FMM - now remains to be seen if these will also be impacted with the above. FMM will not be impacted as operated by Malta Air FMM based aircraft.

Good to see that MAN is still on their radar for expansion. Hopefully, the 18th based frame is still on the cards once the required aircraft deliveries do happen.

RBA has now been loaded at 2x weekly.

Further increases on PMI/CIA/GOT/FNC/BVA.

Highest frequency routes ex MAN on FR for S25.

1. DUB (46x weekly)
2. ALC (25x weekly)
3. PMI (22x weekly)
4. CRL (19x weekly)
5. AGP (16x weekly)
6. FAO (15x weekly)
7/8 CIA/ORK (13x weekly)
9. BER/BFS/TFS/BVA (12x weekly)
10. BGY/BCN/IBZ (11x weekly)

Note both Barcelona & Milan would be higher up with total flights city > city if you include other airports (19x weekly & 20x weekly respectively).

Good to see not just new routes but added frequencies to increase choice for the consumer.

It might not be complete as I've been told Ryanair UK don't complete their schedule until after so there may be more flights to add but it does show how impressive Ryanair's network at Manchester is.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
