I know it's not regular and generally only happens once a year but i'd have thought that the airport would want the bridge to be capable for a 737 700 in case KLM send one of them in ie during the Six Nations. Some B737 family aircraft are smaller similar to the A319 size of 150 seat approx mark so that may fit.
It maybe possible with a re-alignment of the parking stands and the Anglesey of the aircraft on Stand.
The Apron lines were stretched several years ago which then allowed a B737-800 to be parked on Stand 12 and Stand 13 simultaneously.
I'm sure i've seen a photo of 2 Jet2 757s one on stand 10 and the other on 9 for charters to Rome.757's don't fit Stand 9, only 7 and 10. They are slightly longer then A321's.
A321's do, as My Travel used to use it.
Any idea on which stand it's being installed on?The new airbridge will be installed on the 7th of November. Its Been brought forward a day.
I have no idea, sorry Jerry.Any idea on which stand it's being installed on?
They were doing works when i flew to Anglesey at the end of last month. Idk how far they've progressed yet or when they will install the new bridge. I'm down the airport tomorrow so i'll try and get some more photos to see how it's progressing.Since the removal of the old airbridge has any ground work taken place for the new bridge yet?
That's great news! I'll have to get some photos of that! The new air bridge is in place , still being fitted out with the electrics
