Could be a sign that the new base is starting to come to life. Driving along the A4 portway this morning heading towards the airport was a low loader with a tug and bowser on the back, not sure if they were new but were brightly painted red with Jet 2 written on both. I was going the other way so cannot be more specific on what the bowser was for.

Given the update to the "green list" yesterday, Jet2 looks like they will open their new base at BRS on Thursday 1st July. The base will require 3x aircraft based by the 3rd July.

Most of the destinations will not start until mid to late July however. Only palma , Ibiza and Minorca will start early July. Even Madeira will not start till later

Looks like the first of Jet2s based aircraft arrives tomorrow morning from EDI. Currently the aircraft is scheduled to be B738 (G-DTRD) in "Jet2 Holidays" colour-scheme and is due to arrive at around 11:30.

What are the first flights from BRS and what times?

Is the first flight tomorrow by any chance? I saw the BigTV van on the M4 earlier today heading westbound this afternoon so was wondering if they might be covering the first Jet2 BRS departure?

I know the flights for all bases do not begin until 1st July (as the green list doesn't change till is it 04:00 Tuesday or 04:00 Wednesday?).

But I'm wondering if it'll be on the same day everything else begins or at the weekend?

What are the first flights from BRS and what times?

First flight is to Palma on Friday 2nd July at 07:30. Encouraging to see the flight on the 3rd is fully booked.

The Second flight is to Mahon at 14:00 on the 2nd July.

Ibiza starts 3rd July.

Funchal starts 19th July.

@Jerry first flights start 2nd July.

Brilliant list @Severn however I suspect that things will move back, not be served at all this year etc.

What I would love to know is I wonder if they'll be the usual fanfare that goes with opening of a base that Jet2 did for Stansted and Birmingham?
