Thanks for the flight schedules, hopefully one or two people will have a chance to grab a final picture or two of the airline before it disappears for good. Very sad to see it go, it's the end of an era.

The airline really did have a solid place in the market at some of its bases, its only problem, as Aviador mentioned elsewhere in the forum, is that the parent company where to focused on the final figure and whether it was black or red..! As a result there was no proper commercial backing and the airline couldn't therefore compete with the likes of; easyJet, Jet2 etc.

I do hope a lot of the staff are employed back into the industry by the likes of easyJet and Jet2 for example, as there is rapid expansion at and near BMIBaby's former bases!

TOYF has only just departed so it could be worth stating that they'll be flying down to Lasham all day.. :whiteflag:

Can anyone confirm whether TOYJ did a low fly-past over EMA..?! Someone I know mentioned it and just looked on flightradar and looks as if he may have done..? I don't know if he may have been mistaken as a DHL B757 has been doing circuits, but he seems to have remained pretty low and went straight over the runway..
