Ryanair is returning to Aberdeen Airport from next February with routes to Malaga and Alicante (both 2 x weekly).

Some good news then for ABZ after its doldrums following the problems associated with the oil industry.

Looking at the Ryanair app seems to suggest that Aberdeen to Alicante will increase to 3 weekly next summer. (Made a small edit to fix the Malaga times)

Flights will operate on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Full Ryanair schedule for S24 IS below.

Ryanair returned to Aberdeen today, with Faro and Malaga both operating today. A quick scan over the seat maps just after midnight showed the following approx loads on each sector.

Alicante returns tonight with a 3 weekly service, quick look at the Ryanair website shows the following approx loads.

Good to see the MAX operating more out of Aberdeen with Ryanair (looks like 6 of 7 weekly flights), after all, the airport needs all the help it can get with additional passengers

Ryanair S25 appearing on the app, all three routes will return, and for the second year running the airline plans to increase frequencies out of ABZ.

Ryanair launching a 2x weekly KRK service from Aberdeen, their first new route from the airport since 2018. Flights will start on April 2nd and operate Wednesday and Saturday

First FR flight to KRK today and the ABZ-KRK sector was full, and the inbound from KRK was over half full.

From the ABZ press release they also highlight that FR has increased its capacity at Aberdeen by 50% compared to last summer.

Ryanair will operate year round from Aberdeen once more, with the airline extending Alicante and Krakow into the winter season.

Flights to Alicante will operate 3x week and flights to Krakow will operate 2x week.

Ryanair initial S26 flights have appeared on the app, and they are the 3rd airline to announce growth at the airport next summer following SAS and airBaltic.
