Norse Atlantic Airways responded to ch-aviation’s request for comment by saying: “We have made no announcements about a potential LGW start-up. However, we have said that London is an interesting market for Norse, which is why the company has talks with local unions.”

It looks to me that the Union has "Jumped the gun". I hope it doesn't affect the future of services from LGW.

Skyalps are planning flights to Bolzano this winter with Dash 8 aircraft.

Translated: According to the owner of Skyalps, Josef Gostner, there are flights to Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Berlin. Brussels, Rotterdam and London Gatwick are also on the flight schedule.

Putting here as J2 is a Leeds based company after all...

Diversifying this winter to have a seasonal LGW base. Charter / Ski & Lapland flights by the looks with up to 3 aircraft (800's) required at times.

List of loaded routes posted in the LGW forum.

With BA also announcing it is pulling the plug on LGW short haul, I cant help but wonder if this winter dalliance may blossom. I am sure LGW management will be hoping so and a huge chunk of the routes BA are exiting from are Jet2 staples.

Good to see them securing extra market capacity as we enter the winter.
Yes here it is in a tweet.

This filing suggests a Delhi-Gatwick-Newark planned routing. Vistara holds sufficient slots to operate 3x weekly in each direction.

According to Airport Coordination Limited (ACL), the Indian full-service carrier has slots to operate a total of 63 flights from Gatwick to Delhi (translating to 3x weekly flights) and the same number from Gatwick to Newark during the season ending in late March 2022, with up to 299 passenger seats per departure.

The 2022 initial coordination report is out for some UK airports. These include Gatwick

Gatwick to Toronto with air Canada?
Gatwick to Reijeka with Easyjet?

US-Bangla Airlines are looking to start London flights in 2023. No indication yet regarding which London airport or indeed which aircraft type will be used but I’m going to guess LGW (the anteroom for long haul airlines looking to get into Heathrow) is on their radar

Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?
