In addition to their Eastern European routes, for winter 18/19 season Blue Air will operate 2 per week to Rome 4 per week to Alicante and 4 per week to Malaga ( new route added this year ). Bergamo will not operate over winter months.

Blue Air have taken over Air Moldova the Moldovian national carrier it will operate still under the same name.

They are also offering rescue fares of £49 to passengers on their LPL-AGP routes for ex Primera MAN-AGP passengers. There is a limited sale period of the offer and passengers must provide proof of their Primeira booking.

Blue Air are not operating to Bergamo presently. I don't know if this route has stopped for winter or stopped all together.

Personally I think they would do better to deploy that slot to either a route that could do with more capacity....say the med type ones Faro for example. Tenerife could do with more capacity but being a long route ties up the plane for a long time.
Maybe they will look at Lisbon as Easyjet is transferring the route , and leaving behind a destination of high demand from Liverpool.

Their Rome service appears to do well , they also have a hub at Turin so maybe that might he a good destination .

It looks like they will only operate Eastern European routes this summer from Liverpool. I imagine Brexit uncertainty is a concern to them.

That is a shame but i suppose for them getting an UK AOC for a 1 aircraft base in the UK.

I suspect the real reason they are withdrawing is that the operation simply didn't pay..the routes seemed to be haphazard, at odd times and very little publicity... east of the Pennines none at all...
Sorry for Liverpool though it's such a great airport it really deserves more operators and routes

They did quite well on their Rome route. The thing with the sun routes to Spain they are up against Ryanair and Easyjet, and people know them so well, it must make it difficult for them. And with the uncertainty here as well will compound the problem. With the Eastern European routes which will continue (non bases) the passengers who go there know Blue Air as its based over in Romania.

Its a shame I flew on them twice and the product was far superior for FR and EASY.

That's interesting. Could you give us some examples as to how their product was far superior.

I'm not sure really and we will never know for sure, certainly I fail to see why their Spanish routes wouldn't do well, and Rome a route they had no competition on had between 70 and 85 % load factor , so not too shabby. It is a shame , I flew on them twice and found them nice to fly with. I can't see the Brexit indecision will have helped in anyway.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
