I posted the Bristol flights on the Bristol forum. I believe the VLM flight for today from Paris Orly is the French team.

A year ago we were traveling to Norway when all the welsh fans were traveling to Rome and there was a lot of security staff with Bristol airport shirts on.

Next week an international football tournament is being held in China with four countries taking part one of which is Wales. Does anyone know which airport and which airline the Welsh squad is using? Are they flying from CWL?

I didn't know if they are chartering an aircraft. Apparently the tournament provides a very lucrative deal for the FAW.

I'd have thought they'd go Business Class on an airline from Heathrow. The rugby team never really fly long haul from Cardiff either generally they use Heathrow. With Qatar starting it'll be interesting to see if these teams and people from the likes of WRU and FAW switch to using them.

A few charters from today.
2 Blue Islands ATR 72 500 G-ISLL departures today to Dublin one at 11.42 and one at 15.30 for Scarlets rugby team and fans for the Champions Cup semi final in Dublin tomorrow.
Avanti Air Fokker 100 D-AOLG landed at 10.47 with the Pau rugby team for their European Challenge Cup match against Cardiff Blues tomorrow, aircraft is overnighting on stand 14 and departs (hopefully with an unhappy Pau team) tomorrow evening.
FlyVlm Fokker 50 00-VLS departed to Parma at 13.33 with Ospreys rugby team onboard for their Pro14 match against Zebre.
