BA Shuttles at 11.10, 2.15 and 4.15 all cancelled today, along with KL1081. Snow joke!

Yes once again a prudent response which in my view avoids any potential passengers getting caught in delays didging the very occasional snow flake which is fcast for this evening.

Anybody booked on these consecutive shuttles , coonecting with flights across the world should heed the advice, return home, unpack and forget about that business trip or holiday of a lifetime which you saved up years for.

I see we took a couple of Jet2 diversions from LBA last evening although 3 others went to NCL. Conditions at MAN couldn't have been great if they were anything like it was 5 miles to the east so not too surprising if they said no more although I didn't see an official notam.

Despite their snow, BHX had about 7 diverts from EMA and the KLM from LBA - MAN woudn't have been in the equation anyway for KLM I imagine! A couple of RYR diverts from LBA went to LPL.

flybe cancelled 7 of their early scheduled arrivals this morning due to the heavy fog (RVR 200m for a long period). One that did arrive was Southend. As far as I know, our long hauls got in ok.

However, we did take a RYR divert from LBA last night and another from LPL this morning

According to FR24 Sunwing operating for Thomson B738 C-GNCH TOM58G made a brief stop in MAN during the night enroute PMI-BFS

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
