TAF gives showers of snow and freezing rain.

An EI prop diverted from LPL to LBA.

23R/05L is ironically closed each night this week for its monthly maintenance.
I wonder when the next full resurfacing of this runway is due, I think it’s coming up to around 15+ years now since the last overhaul.

Emails started coming in to me from around 16:30 to say that MAN is back on single runways (23L) operations due to yet another pot-hole in 23R.

As at 20:00 we have had 4 flights divert away. 3 to Liverpool XQ594, XQ592 and LS884 plus PC7281 to Stansted.

There were 4 diversions to Liverpool, another Jet2 from Rhodes.

These closures are becoming much more frequent…
