Couldn't find a thread for BH Air so I thought I'd make one.

This summer they fly to Burgas 1 weekly on Fridays from May until the end of July when they increase to 2 weekly with a Monday flight added. They then stay at 2 weekly until the programme ends in early October.

Schedule:
Monday - Arrive BHX 18:55, depart 19:55
Friday - Arrive BHX 17:00, depart 18:00

Does anyone know if this is an increase on last year?

Another Air Transat, the same old year in and year out, blah blah blah blah blah
Well considering they only operate to generally 1 destination which has a lot of competition on then they will take a cautious approach. It is a shame though they got rid of the A330.

It only has Thomas cook at BHX for competition, but i suppose they do only have a limited number of aircraft.

Don't forget TUI, they also do Burgas :)

In fairness I believe even LGW only has BH Air, Thomas Cook and TUI, although the frequencies there will most likely be higher.

Oh yeah, i honestly didnt know TUI did Burgas too, makes sense then i suppose.
Their holiday side does offer a lot more but it looks like they use other airlines. TUI might be one.

Summer 2020 is now on sale, with the same frequency but different times.

Monday - arrives BHX 20:15, departs 21:05
Friday - arrives 17:50, departs 18:50

No real surprise, but Balkan Holidays have now cancelled their entire summer 2020 programme from the UK.

02 July 2020 - Update

It is with the deepest of regret that we write to inform you that we have taken the heartbreaking decision to cancel the remainder of all our Bulgaria charter flights and holidays this summer.

Such decisions are never easy, but with the ongoing uncertainty over whether or not we can offer you a holiday this summer, I feel that this is the right thing to do. Your holiday experience with us should be the best possible, but we do not believe that we could deliver that this season with all the restrictions in place. We want to assure you that the enjoyment of your holiday as well as your health, safety and well-being remains of paramount importance to us.

As we are sure you can appreciate during this difficult time our call centre and social media teams are extremely busy so please do not contact us unless absolutely necessary. All available options will be clearly explained in the letter sent to you with further details on how to proceed.

We wish to thank you for your incredible support and understanding you have shown us throughout this difficult period. We will now together start looking forward to Summer 2021 and hope that you will join us next year when we can once again enjoy the beautiful beach resorts that we all love.

I’ve always thought Varna looked more appealing than Burgas, Thomas Cook flew there for a brief spell and I think back in the day Balkan operated charters with the TU-154s. But seeing neither TUI or Jet2 fly there I’m guessing there isn’t that much demand from the U.K.?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
