There appears to be cuts for some BE routes from September.

CDG - reduced to 3x weekly September, 2x weekly October
DUB - reduced from daily to 4x weekly in October
JER - reduced from daily to 2x weekly in October
FAO and AGP - not bookable in October

The cuts suggest that one of the E175's will leave end of September

I think Flybe did the same this winter. Reduce DSA to 1 aircraft for the winter season from the 2 it was last winter.

BE's W18/19 timetable is out for DSA

ALC - 2x weekly (Tue and Sat) (Thu flights added for around Christmas period)
AMS - daily
BHD - 4 weekly (Mon, Thu, Fri, Sun)
DUB - 3x weekly (Mon, Fri, Sun
JER - 2x weekly (Wed, Sat)
CDG - 2x weekly (Mon, Fri)

How does this compare with the current winter?

The timetable has fluctuated a great deal with only one flight on some days. If that schedule is operated throughout the winter, it will be an increase.

Flybe Summer 2019
Alicante 3 weekly no change
Amsterdam 7 weekly no change
Belfast City 6 weekly +1 weekly flight
Dublin 7 weekly no change
Faro 2 weekly -1 weekly flight
Jersey 7 weekly no change
Malaga 2 weekly -1 weekly flight
Newquay 3 weekly no change
Paris 2 weekly -5 weekly flights
Palma de Mallorca 0 weekly -2 weekly flights
All together that's 39 weekly flights 2 based E175s compared to 44 weekly flights and 2 based E175s.

Airport website says there may be an updated in the coming weeks hopefully so surely Paris will be more than twice weekly

I think the press release stated it was part 1 of the release. It didn't indicate how many more were to come just that there was more to come.

I am concerned about the fact that Flybe seem to have stagnated at DSA. At the inception of the base it was 2 x EMB190. Now that may have been too much capacity for some of the routes but CDG started at 2 daily, now it is proposed 2 weekly for 2019.
CWL had a similar set up and they have 3 based aircraft and expecting more.

It is good that they are still around, but will they be at the end of the "set up" agreement?

Flybe have had a turbulent few years and like you say, it's good that they are still around. Didn't the new management say they were going to consolidate further? I don't really foresee any major expansion from Flybe for some time to be honest. Next year is going to be equally challenging for them after Brexit and into un-chartered territory at least until we have some political and economical stability.

I don't know the history of DSA and routes but were many of these routes operated with an established airline before? With CWL many of the Flybe routes have been established routes from years ago that Flybe has just carried on a few it operated and with the Italian routes there is a connection between the 2 countries which are helping the routes, the disappointment is probably the German routes. So far for Summer 2019 i've only been able to account for 13 e jets being used and if 1 goes to EXT and NWI sun routes and 1 spare at BHX then that leaves 1 jet to be occupied and with PMI not onsale maybe they'll split it between DSA and CWL?

Sun seekers will soon be able to fly to Mallorca every week, as a new Flybe flight has been a announced from Doncaster Sheffield Airport.
The weekly flight to Palma Mallorca will start on May 29, just in time for annual summer breaks.

Palma is the capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca and offers a great variety of resorts to suit all tastes, plus providing a total of 2,779 hours of sunshine a year.

Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer comments: “We are pleased to be extending our 2019 Summer schedule from Doncaster Sheffield Airport with the additional choice of this particular sun route to such a popular summer holiday destination.”

Seats are available for booking now at www.flybe.com.

Didn't they used to operate this route 2 weekly before?

So it's not really a new flight then? Or is it going 3 weekly?

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
