3rd new longhaul route announced for Summer 2014 and a brand new never before served destination from Manchester.

US will run a daily Charlotte, North Carolina from 23rd May with the B757.

This is alongside the A330 to Philidelphia. Flights arrive 0930 and depart 1445.

Turning out to be a good Summer schedule for MAN.

US Airways in the past 2 days has started using the larger B767-200 instead of B757-200 on the Charlotte-Manchester flights, citing high demand.

Well the MEN have done us proud with there "cut out and keep guide" for UTD fans wanting to get to Stockholm.

They referenced our flight by Monarch (but not on the Wed), that's where any factual assistance ends. Suggested no flights by loco but missed Norwegian and as for SAS they don't exist.

But hey flights from London £200!
I thought we had left this type of mentality behind in the 90s.

Apols for the expletives but

"What a complete and utter xxxxend "

Matthew Cooper is the MEN intern who clearly requires a period of re training!

IF others feel minded do pls let the MEN know !

PS Just to confirm after pressure from certain quarters the MEN have now updated the article to confirm Fly Norwegian and SAS operate Stockholm Flights.

The line about using London remains.

Why we have to give Heathrow a "leg up" is beyond me!

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
