Slade and Wizzard brought out their Christmas songs in the same year - 1973. Remarkable that two such long-lasting and immensely popular Christmas songs should appear at the same time. I believe that Slade took the honours in the top 20 or whatever it was called then. I've never really followed 'pop music' (I bet that term is not used any more) seriously at any time in my life but I certainly enjoy the three Festive tracks that Kevin has provided for us.

The School has since been re-built and is now known as Walsall Academy.

My ex wife sister lived next door to noddy back in the day. There was always music blasting out from his house. He sure had a success with the band and always like to listen to slade with all the different music they play. Always like a pop concert.
