I take your point Jerry and its valid but the A340-600 did fly in and out of LPL when the airlift to Kiev was on. But it may be the travel organisers are using Manc for Northern Spurs fans..who knows

I think Iberia are using A340-600 so as you say 'who knows' !

Regardless there will be enough variety for spotters to watch.

Liverpool Airport have tweeted that Vueling have added extra LPL-MAD flights.

On the airport website they have very good travel section for fans wanting to travel to Madrid , with direct and indirect options .

31 May will have Eithopian 787-800 and Corseair 747-400 arriving for Madrid services.

Don't see 747s at Liverpool very often and the fact they.are becoming a bit rarer these days anyway, I will try and make an effort to see the Corseair aircraft. I know this company has flown 747s into Liverpool Airport in the past but I've not seen them.
