New routes due from Easyjet , Liverpool to Marrakech twice per week from November. Could be trying to beat Jet2 here.

Plus the return of Liverpool to Berlin, a route that ran for years and years and was consistently popular. Why it was dropped is a mystery. May have been one they moved to Manchester. Many passengers will be happy to see that available again. Friday and Monday from Feb 25

Also to come Liverpool to Prague thrice per week from mid Feb.

Liverpool to Fuetenventura once.a.week

And already confirmed Liverpool to Malta 🇲🇹

It's funny how when a new airline shows up, the existing ones go into a frenzy announcing new routes.

I think it highlights also, just moving popular routes to Manchester, ignores passenger demands . Since they moved Berlin, ive seen constant demands and complaints at to why this route had disappeared. It handled 80K per annum, it was always the wrong thing to do. Prague a similar story.

Staying with Egypt, easyJet is also adding a new winter flight from Liverpool (LPL/EGGP). The twice-weekly service starts on 14th February and means that easyJet will.opeeate more seats to Egypt from the UK than any other airline.

easyJet is also launching two new routes to Olso, Norway from Manchester (MAN/EGCC) and Liverpool from 15th November.

Routes from both airports will operate twice weekly.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be launching even more new routes from airports across the UK to a fantastic range of leisure destinations, meaning we’re now offering over 41 new routes including three brand new destinations on our network from this winter.

( it is suggested in an article in Aviation News that there is more on offer on LPL-OSL, will have to wait and see. I know this route has been on the airports hit list for some time, to have it returned. )

Hi I am new to this forum I am looking at flying from Liverpool - Prague in early April next year but currently the flights are only bookable on the Easyjet website until the end of March 2025 - this is not only the case for the Prague route but some other routes from LPL too they seem to be new routes like Berlin. I emailed Easyjet a few weeks ago and they said it is due to slot availability and it looks like because its a new route they do not have slots confirmed beyond March yet - is this a common thing with new Easyjet routes as slots are only confirmed a few months out? From previous experience when would you expect April flights for Prague (and Berlin etc) to go on sale - just asking if you know if this is definitely a year round service sure I read it was but I would certainly rather go from Liverpool rather than Manchester as I live very close to LPL and also I am looking at booking earlier to get the cheapest flights so does anyone know when April will be bookable as Manchester-Prague flights are on sale for April but I presume it is because it is a well established route.

Welcome to Forums4airports @Luke McDonnell

Flights would normally be on sale before Christmas for April next year although usually what normally happens is the flights will be on sale by around the end of October when the current flying season ends. That's how most airlines launch their schedule but there are sometimes exceptions.

Thanks for letting me know that's great I am going to meet a friend there she is coming from Scotland (Edinburgh) just wondering what would be the best way for her to travel would going direct on EZY or Jet2 be better/cheaper or would going via LHR/AMS/FRA be a better option depending on what day we fly? Can BA/KLM/LH be a better/cheaper option sometimes?

You could also go from Birmingham as they fly with easyJet,Jet2 and Eurowings all cheap as chips

Easyjet have launched about 7 new routes from Liverpool this year. Prague has been served quite often from Liverpool, Ryanair and Czech Airlines have operated this route, now Easyjet have taken it over. Its probably a bit early to book for April 25 onwards, so if I was you id hang on a bit. For your friend from Edinburgh, I would expect flying direct from there to be cheaper and quicker than going via LHR etc.

Easyjet announced Liverpool to Sharm el Sheikh and Oslo earlier this week. I'm sure I posted it on here but seems to disappeared for some reason.

It's nice to see Sharm El Sheikh being operated from some of the UK regions again after so long.

Rumours of a Liverpool to Madeira to be launched with @easyjet . This would be copying @jet2 .
Unless it's a very busy route say Palma, it's irritating when you see duplication when there are other potential destinations available.

For example Easyjet abandoned their long running, popular Lisbon route a few years ago. They haven't returned Venice since Covid, there will be others.
I know they are only thinking what's best for their business, although I'm not so sure in this case. For the @LPL_Airport it's welcome but I think they may also prefer an unserved destination.

I suppose these are the routes that make the money though especially if the focus is on the holiday side of the business.

Hi, I was born and lived in B36 for a long time - Lindale Avenue, just around the corner from Hodge Hill Comp.
I just noticed your postcode on a post.

Do you still live in the area?

49 trips undertaken last year. First done this year which was to North Wales where surprisingly the only slippery surfaces were in Conwy with the castle and it's walls closed due to the ice.
