if easyjet flight number is 9xxxx it's positioning or some sort of irrops (for example: scheduled flight 855 with overnight delay would be 9855)

I was half expecting a post saying it had been dropped and moved to MAN!

Well you wouldn't be off the mark, because they have done it many a time before on well used routes like Lisbon for example. Baffling decisions at times, on the Jersey route its 90 + % full as was Lisbon.

At least they didn't this time!

LPL-IOM also bookable into the winter, the extra Sunday night service which ran over half term breaks is now every week, apart from a 6 week period Jan/Feb

But Easy are going to start MAN to Jersey from Jul and operate all winter 2 weekly summer 3
wekly in winter

No but it was said that it was half expected that it would transfer to Manchester and at the same time
as that was mentioned our own service was announced, chill out just coincidence

Looks like Easyjet and others are profiteering on fans.

A price hike on flights to Liverpool’s Champions League final has been branded ‘shameful’ by the city’s Metro Mayor.
Steve Rotheram condemned Easyjet for increasing the cost of seats on planes heading to Madrid on June 1 following the Reds’ win over Barcelona on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side staged an unlikely comeback to reach the final with a 4-3 aggregate victory over the Spanish champions in their return leg at Anfield.
Mayor Rotheram, who is a Liverpool fan, highlighted Easyjet’s cheapest one-way flight heading to Madrid on May 31 currently stands at £750.49 per head.

A return flight to John Lennon Airport on June 3, two days after the final, has been priced at £237.54, meaning fans will have to shell out almost £1,000 on travel alone.
Writing on Twitter, Mayor Rotheram said: “Easyjet hiking up prices by 683% for return flights to Madrid is quite simply profiteering from the passion of football fans.

“This is nothing new but entirely shameful.”
An Easyjet spokeman has defended the budget airline’s pricing strategy amid increased demand from Liverpool fans aiming to be in Madrid for the final.
He said: “As with all airlines, our pricing is demand-led, which means that as more seats are booked on a flight the price will rise so our fares start low and increase the closer it is to the date of departure.
“We do not artificially increase ticket prices around sporting events, prices are led by a strong demand for some flights due to convenient scheduled flight times.
“We believe our fares remain competitive in comparison to other airlines flying around the same time.”

Supply & Demand. And price is all led by computer alga rhythms.

I'm sure all MAD flights from MAN have also risen in price, via options too, and with Tottenham now in the final i wouldn't be surprised to see London prices rising. These people need to quit their moaning and get imaginative. EDI-MAD? BRS-MAD?

Come on people get imaginative?. You have still got to travel to the likes of Bristol paying more in travel costs when you have a local airport on your doorstep that you would use for most of your travelling normally.

People are being robbed off with the price of everything for these stellar events ticket prices for the game go up to over £500 (5% of the allocation) add the hotel and flight and its over £2000 on travel tickets and hotel people pay it because it is rare you get the chance to go to these events Liverpool lucky for them have now been to the final two years running, it starts to seriously add up on the fans.

Pure Greed nothing else

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
