Easyjet will be providing an appalling service to Amsterdam this year, with just 1 flight per day. Completely inadequate. Airport management are very unhappy about the offering . Usually there are 3 flights per day. They have increased the base this year, with more flights to destinations in Turkey for example but the Amsterdam route they are not looking after well, and more capacity is needed.

I think it was highly likely that Easyjet commenced LPL - BHD, with a view to prevent Flybe muscling in. They seem to be doing well on the route, so I hope they continue to offer the airport choice in NI, but you never can tell with Easyjet.

Ultimately its resulted in a better outcome than Flybe on the route.

Not being antagonistic but is this, in any way, connected with their starting the route from "down the road"?

Maybe they are going to try the route from MAN, see if it works. Its not been popular from LPL this year. The route has run since 2012, 1 per week and 2 per week in 2019 and 2020. Not been popular this year, probably as its a ski route, perhaps people are feeling the pinch more . Having said that Easyjet have an annoying history of moving routes. Many that should not have been, as were doing well. My thoughts are possible incentives from MAN.

I assume the incentive is a much larger catchment. As for other types of incentive, why would MAN pay EZY to fly there when other airlines already offer it from that airport?

The catchment is about the same. As for incentives obviously to take a route from Liverpool.

Other route increases from Easyjet this winter so far are , Liverpool : - AGP, IOM ,JER ,BFS, BHD ( will be twice a day ) ,

And people thought easy would retract in the presence of Jet2?! Looks like one some routes they are wanting to gain market share before the arrival of Jet2.

Norse are offering connections from.Liverpool to New York via CDG. it uses Easyjets Liverpool - CDG routes for the connection.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
