In Bergen now , flew over at lunchtime with Wideroe, flight pretty much full. Route appears to be doing nicely.

Got talking to another couple.of the flight who are in Bergen for the weekend, they had come down from Durham for the flight.

Anyone going to Bergen for the weekend, on arrival ,dont take airport bus, take tram, its about every 5 mins, takes about 45 mins into the centre and its only about £3 single.

Wideroe have a busy service back to Bergen tomorrow with just one seatn showing available on their web site.

Wideroe SVG-LPL due to arrive at 10.30 WF 7614 in addition usual to BGO-LPL WF380 at 11.50.

Outwards Wideroe at 11.10 LPL-TRF departure at 11.10

Be interesting to see what the load factor was...pretty low I would think

Yes I was rather surprised it was showing on the airports arrivals/departures as the service has been suspended whilst Corvid19 persists. Could be to repatriate some Norwegians maybe, or maybe was already busy as its Easter period. I wouldn't be able to go down to the airport anyway to find out with the restrictions of course. So who knows why !!

Do you know have Peel suspended the charges for pick up and drop off parking, seeing as there are so few and the camera vans as well :ROFLMAO: ??

There not that generous ! Apparently Wideroe do have some Bergen flights scheduled over April.

Wideroe is also operating today, inbound from Bergen at 12.00, departing back to Bergen at 12.40. WF 380 / 381.

So three departures / arrivals today..two IOM one BGO. Hope there's not too much overcrowding !

From today's Airlineroute update for the week commencing 19th April:

Bergen – Liverpool 1 weekly

They are operating Friday and next Monday, I can't see anything in on their web site after that in May. Having said that they do appear to be adding flights at short notice, so will see.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
