Good for Exeter that they seem to be interested in replacing the lost routes.

CAA stats out today and provide passenger numbers for the first calendar month (April) of Ryanair's new routes.

Naples: 2266 passengers, average load 141.6, load factor 74.9%

Malta*: 2607 passengers, average load 144.8, load factor 76.6%

* There was an additional rotation (two sectors) for Malta compared with Naples because of the days of the week the flights are operated.

I was unable to ascertain Ryanair's Malaga passenger figures because Flybe also operated the route in April this year. Overall, the Malaga route handled 5830 scheduled passengers compared with 3936 in April 2018 when Flybe operated the route alone.

With Naples and Malta it's likely that the first inbounds were not well patronised so that has to be taken into account when looking at the loads, but of course the yields are what count in the end. Having said that, Ryanair tends to expect high loads on holiday routes in summer so it will probably be looking for at least around the 90% level in the main holiday months.

Load-wise, I think it's a decent start and a good foundation for the routes to grow.

I’d be surprised if they did... loads are good out of NQY. With Exeter on the same routes in that close proximity, one would lose out I think.

Ryanair to ALC from EXT beginning this winter was indeed announced some time ago.

Ryanair will operate 6x weekly flights from EXT this Winter.
AGP - 2x weekly (continues from summer 19)
MLA - 2x weekly (continues from summer 19)
ALC - 2x weekly (new route starting in November)

NAP is operated 2x weekly in summer 19 only and will hopefully be back next summer!

Ryanair will be also be operating 2x weekly NQY-ALC flights this winter (like last winter).

So between EXT, NQY and BRS Ryanair will be operating ten flights each week to Alicante through the winter. I wonder how that will pan out. Seems a lot of seats for the winter outside Christmas/New Year and the school holidays.

If Naples has gone the number of weekly flights will remain the same as summer 2019 with the introduction of Alicante which begins this winter.

It's been suggested on the dried fruit forum that Ryanair could look at taking over Exeter's Belfast route? Would be interesting if they did.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
