Confirmation from the start of season Winter 2018 ACL report:

New weekly Marrakesh service, via Birmingham, on Thursday Feb-Mar with B737-800.

Have MAN allocated the terminal for this service already? Just wondered if new services are now going to operate from T2…
Good question. As of Currently it’s not known what terminal they will use. But if I was to take a guess then I would also say T2.

Things may well change however, for S21 they were allocated T1.

Corendon Airlines has launched a new Crete route for summer 2024, with two flights a week from both Gatwick and Manchester to Heraklion.

Mine Aslan, commercial director, said: “Following feedback from many of our trade partners, we have now expanded our UK offering to include Crete for summer 2024.

“The new Crete flights will be the first of several new destinations we plan to feature from the UK in the forthcoming years.”

The airline has also announced it will again serve Antalya from Stansted next summer, offering three flights a week.

Aslan added: “These additional flights will now increase our summer 2024 capacity to over 360,000 [seats], our biggest programme from the UK so far.”

Corendon Airlines is currently offering 34 weekly flights from the UK in summer 2024.

The Turkish carrier will operate to Antalya, Dalaman and Crete from Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol and Glasgow next year.

The Corendon Flights have operated to Crete previously ex MAN in 2022 but are flown on 9H registered aircraft as I believe Turkish registered cannot operate because they are not EU based so a bit of choice

On the days that Corendon operate next summer, their prices to Turkey are among the lowest out of all the options. I’m not sure what to make of that. If I’ve learned anything from my recent experience with Jet2, it’s that a low ticket price isn’t necessarily a good sign. However, they seem confident that the UK tour operators will fill their flights.

Moneywise Turkey isn`t in a good place with huge inflation and a very high interest rate to boot so who knows where things will be next summer

Hasn't Turkey just become the second most favourite destination with UK tourists?

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
