Possibly more university charters? ZSNT is Nantong Xingdong airport.

Suggestions this route may *finally* launch next year ...

The reliable SeanM posting about rumours and Juneyao being mentioned. Put two and two together this likely means MAN

One wonders if we will see PVG-MAN direct as I believe the initial reasoning for the HEL tag-on was due to Juneyao awaiting 787s..?

Great news re Juneyao. I'm a little surprised as barely a month ago we were told they'd handed their slot allocation back paving the way for a China Eastern service. China Eastern were rumoured for a 28th June start, three a week on 773s. Do we get both?? Confusing?!

The 1st flight has just landed. Already a few news stories out e.g. this with a damning comment on the mindset of airlines and individuals who equate going to London as serving the UK and how the UIK benefits

"Chief executive Ken O’Toole said: “We know aviation is a critical enabler of growth for sectors that rely on access to global markets to reach their full potential and that is why it is great to see this new route operate from Manchester Airport.

“History tells us that every time new services to key global markets launch from regions outside of London, they create a significant economic ripple effect and that is sure to be the case with this route to Shanghai."

Now revised it - it's ending the daily run a couple of weeks earlier
