Flybe gears up for a busy Easter at Cardiff
  • Operating 122 flights over extended six-day weekend
  • 14 routes in total
  • Busiest routes include Dublin and Edinburgh
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, is gearing up for a busy six-day Easter holiday period (Thursday 18th April – Tuesday 23rd April 2019 inc) from Cardiff Airport when it will operate a total of 122 flights across 14 UK regional and European routes.
Dublin and Edinburgh will be particularly busy routes, with the added frequency to Dublin now offering up to 15 flights a week to the Irish capital. This also gives additional opportunities those passengers connecting on to Flybe’s Aer Lingus codeshare services out of Dublin to Boston, Chicago, Hartford, Los Angeles, New York (JFK and Newark Liberty), Orlando, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington - and pre-clear US customs/immigration whilst in transit in Dublin.
With more choice through increased frequency and summer routes including twice-weekly flights to Rome, Verona and Venice, Flybe remains fully committed to Cardiff with a choice of regional and European destinations.
Flybe will be publishing its 2019-20 Winter schedule from Cardiff Airport in due course.
Roy Kinnear, Flybe’s Chief Commercial Officer comments: “Flybe is in a strong position to meet customers’ needs as they travel far and wide to connect with family and friends. This is one of the busiest travel periods of the year and we look forward to welcoming on board this weekend all our Cardiff customers who have chosen to fly with us for their Easter holiday travel.”

6 day weekend I’ve had shorter weeks!!
Just airport spin
A week is 7 days and I'd imagine that the airport are referring to the Easter period in that day's as many might go on holiday on Thursday and return Tuesday or Monday.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
