Please find attached a pdf document showind data from FR24, and any extra flights/diversions/one of charters that I was aware of, regarding statistics for Birmingham Arrivals for 2019
I have 5 separate columns, indicating the following:-
Arrivals by aircraft registration:- no surprise that Flybe leads the way, G-FBJB was the most landed aircraft, 415 landings, followed by DH8 G-KKEV, then Jet2/Smart Lynx A321, YL-LCV, 3 more Flybe DH8s, G-ECOC, G-JECK, G-JECR, TUI 757 G-OOBB, Flybe G-FBJC & G-JECO, and Avion Express/Thomas Cook A320 LY-VEN
Arrivals by aircraft type and registration shows 48 different aircraft types, showing alphabetically by type and then registration.
Arrivals by aircraft type :- shows percentage of aircraft types that make up the arrivals, the Boeing 737-800 tops the list with 15,166 landings, or 30.6% of all arrivals, followed by the DH8, A320, E75, A319, A321 and AT76, these 7 aircraft types account for 80% of all Birmingham Arrivals.
Arrivals by Airline :- shows percentage of arrivals by each airline, Flybe was top again accounting for 30% of all arrivals, followed by Ryanair (14%), Jet2 (11%), TUI (8%), Aer Lingus (6%)
Arrivals by Destinations:- shows percentage of arrivals by origin/arrival airport, no surprise that Dublin had more arriving flights than any other destination at 7%, followed by Amsterdam (7%), Belfast City (4%), Edinburgh (4%), Paris CDG (4%), Glasgow (4%), Dusseldorf (4%)
- obviously this data in unoffical, and may not be 100% acurate, but gives you a good idea on the movements we saw last year, Flybe is still so important to the airport.
If anyone would like an excel copy of this data, please send me a DM with your email address, and I will sent it to you when I can!
enjoy!
