Indeed very busy today on the freight side a B767,A333 and two B744 according to Ians blog.
Adding to the post by HPsauce are a MNG A333 plus a National 744.

There was a time not that long ago when I wondered if we would ever see a 747 again now we can't keep them away.

Surely the UCL Flights should be using LHR unless one or both of the teams is using St George's Park. And Jude Bellingham must have flew separately to visit his family. I don't think he will fly back to Spain as England then play on the Monday after the Final

Isn't this the situation with UK airport capacity now though. There probably isn't much scope for charter flights into LHR, even though it's best located for Wembley.

I imagine these flights are spread out across a number of London airports but BHX, being 2 - 3 hrs from Wembley by coach is clearly not a bad option if you are tour operator and you can organise the coaches etc.

Likewise these passengers don't necessarily always stop overnight in London. If you've got a coach you can afford to shop arround for bulk hotel rooms rather than the people who organise it themselves and pick hotels that are convenient for Wembley or the transport links.

The Silkway 744 and Maersk 767 are in again today on their runs t/f Baku and Billund respectively are these permanent or just temporary operations?

I've noted elsewhere on the forum that Emirates start twice weekly 777F flights to MAN next week so I'd guess that's the end for us of those flights. I think we only had one flight last week instead of the usual two.

I cant answer about Silkway and Maersk but can confirm that the EK freighters are moving to MAN from 1st June. They may be moving to STN later on in the Year (but no timetable confirmed as yet). Ah well, it was nice while it lasted!

You don't get this often.

On the ground at the same time today the following widebodies ÷

Emirates A380
Saudi 787X
Qatar 788
Emirates 777F
My Freighter 767
TUI 788 position from Gatwick
Jet2 A332 with STS

Also operating today during course of the day 2 TUI 787s, MNG A333, Emirates 777 and an Air India 788.
BHX can never had such a schedule of big boys.

Ethiopian A359 coming in this afternoon, anyone know why?
From Madrid, so assuming Champions League related (final tomorrow at Wembley)

Ethiopian aircraft often have a whole day's layover in Europe on some routes, so they have been known to pick up charter flights that they can fit in around the schedule.

The aircraft operated Addis Ababa - Paris last night and is planned back out to CDG from BHX this afternoon, presumably to pick up tonight's CDG-ADD.

survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
15 years at the same company was reached the weekend before last. Not sure how they will mark the occasion apart from the compulsory payirse to minimum wage (1st rise for 2 years; i was 15% above it back then!)
