There were reports MAN was down by 1 B737.

It now appears we have swapped a B737 for a B757 so an increase in seats.

Thank goodness there is *some* good news!

Press releases state that TUI will add a raft of capacity to Manchester.

States that Lanzarote, Tenerife, 'Lapland' and Turkey are the main recipients.

Judging by a comment on the other forum it looks as though MAN will get a 787-9 next year – seat maps suggest a 789 flying MAN-CUN in September.

Seat plans obtained from a friend. I didn't catch which days each flight is though.

Looks like 18 is in the process of being loaded for MAN.

Nothing new to note just yet, but the good news is that Phuket moves from a bi-weekly operation to 1 weekly.

Good news, but it seems Goa has seen a slight reduction? Not sure about Thomas Cook's desired frequencies for India during this period.

Would love to see Vietnam, Colombo, maybe even St Lucia added?

Goa is only a very very slight reduction.

It's one weekly this winter with a few extra flights dotted about the calendar.

With Thailand being very popular ex-MAN, TOM have added Krabi from LGW this winter, I'd like to think MAN has a shot eventually.

Thomas Cook have retained their 4-weekly Goa operations. As said above, I'd love to see TUI get more adventurous and add Phu Quoc, Krabi, Colombo etc. from Manchester. Sri Lanka would be a real nice new route.

It looks like Krabi may actually be a new route next winter.

When you select Thailand in the holidays section, the weekly Phuket flight on Wed(into the) flight shows, and a bi weekly flight on Fridays shows. As yet, nothing is showing for what that bi-weekly flight could be, as when you select it, it reverts to the Wed Phuket flight.

Also, when you do select a Krabi hotel from a Manchester flight, it does go on to say 'flights to Phuket and Krabi available'.

It's a 'one to watch'.

Another to watch is Kuala Lumpur. Bi-weekly options showing for W18/19 on a Thu, but says 'all gone' when you select the dates. No scheduled airline has flights that far in advance.....

Kuala Lumpur doesn't show in the dropdown box - the only destination in Malysia is Langkawi. In addition, they'vwe also added Cochi, Denpasar (Bali), Muscat, Newark amongst others. One to watch.

Also Male has been re-added.

Make ps you wonder what will happen with Malaysia, as you say, Langkwai is in the flights box but then the holidays bit has Kuala Lumpur hotels loaded. Langkwai is a fair distance from Kuala Lumpur, in fact, Langkwai is probably closer to Phuket than Kuala Lumpur!

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. It only takes a couple of minutes to upload a news story with an accompanying image. The news items can then be shared on the site homepage by you. #TakePart #Forums4airports Bring the news to one place!
survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
