I haven't seen a set list but FR24 picked up G-TUIB operating MAN-PMI-MAN this morning.

G-TUIC is still training out of MAN and G-TUIA is doing short haul from Gatwick.

hi just booked a ski holiday with thomson ski departing manchester on the 14th dec 14:25 ls2111 to salzburg do u no what aircraft will be used and why do thomson not use ther own aircraft ? thanks boz

This winter Thomson will be using a TUIfly B767-300 for some flights.

Not sure which flights but it will position in as X39013F from HAM at 21:30 on Fridays, then, when its MAN based duties are done, out to ARN as TOM9013F at 11:45 on Tuesdays.

Either they are anticipating a capacity shortfall for some reason (possibly aircraft tied up with Hajj), or there is just extra capacity needed over the weekend?

Thomson have increased Puerto Vallarta (west coast Mexico) and Punta Cana (Carribean) from 1 to 2 weekly each next summer.

Puerto Vallarta is particularly encouraging given it was one of the brand new destinations made possible by the B787, and only started this summer.

Thomson will introduce 1 weekly MAN-XRY (Jerez) from May 28th until October 2nd.

Probably a smoother airport to pass through than Malaga and it's midway location between Faro and Malaga is both ideal for the Costa Del Sol area and for those who want to head up to Servile.

Announced via routes twitter, Thomson will launch 2 weekly MAN and LGW to Keflavik from January 2016. That's the 3rd carrier on the route, so, I'm not sure how sustainable that is going to be.

They are only running for x6 weeks between Jan-March so I doubt they'll have much effect on Icelandair and Easyjet services.

Had my first experience yesterday of a Thomson B738 G TAWS, could someone enlighten me whether the body/cabin on these aircraft are any bigger (I mean wider as I know they're longer) than a standard B733 or is it just the mood lighting in the cabin that makes it appear bigger? Returned on a Ryanair B738 later in the day and was still convinced the Thomson seemed bigger!

Just noticed on FR24 that Thomson's are using the B787 Dreamliner on the Palma route today and also last week it was on one of the Turkish or Greek routes, does anyone think the regional airports such as LBA may get to see a Dreamliner from these destinations on a W leg like the B767 used to do?

Thomson use the B787 for short haul flights from LGW and MAN. They don't W-pattern anywhere else.

I'd say it's unlikely that they will appear at LBA, or, any other UK point on short haul for the foreseeable.

The Thomson website seems to be starting to show its Summer 2017 routes, although nothing bookable yet.

Worth noting that when Manchester and July 2017 are selected, it lets you select Varadero without the warning telling you it's not available. Olbia is also showing to have flights on Saturdays.

Mauritius and Phuket were also allowing themselves to be selected into the summer when I last checked, however, it's all a work in progress at the moment, so will change frequently.

Will be interesting to see if any Norwegian flights appear like they do for Gatwick, that could answer easily what routes to expect next year.

Thomson will launch a Caribbean destination from Manchester for summer 2017. Said route is currently unserved from the UK as far as Im aware, but, has been served in the past.

a fair few increases also, with 1 more based aircraft as far as I'm aware.

All checked in for my flight to Sydney from Manchester via Heathrow. Been waiting for this trip for nearly a year and now tomorrow I'll finally head to Australia and New Zealand!
If anyone would like to share their local airport news right here in our news area let me know so I can give you the correct permissions to do so. survived a redundancy scenario where I work for the 3rd time. Now it looks likely I will get to cover work for 2 other teams.. Pretty please for a payrise? That would be a no and so stay on the min wage.
Live in Market Bosworth and take each day as it comes......
Well it looks like I'm off to Australia and New Zealand next year! Booked with BA from Manchester via Heathrow with a stop in Singapore and returning with Air New Zealand and BA via LAX to Heathrow. Will circumnavigate the globe and be my first trans-Pacific flight. First long haul flight with BA as well and of course Air NZ.
