Looks like airforce 1 will be landing in Newquay for the G7 summit. This is if you can beleive the news papers.

That's surprising! You'd have thought it would go to Fairford considering the facilities are already in place and then POTUS is flown down on Marine One.

There is talk of airforce 1 dropping off the president and followers, then reposition to either Fairford or Mildenhall. Helicopter from airport to the venue. Its not properly sorted out yet which venue will be used.

I'd have thought that this type of thing can be only be news media speculation as security considerations would preclude precise details of the President's movements being made public prior to the event.

From what I know and understand all traffic will be into NQY - it has the space and now millions for rapid improvements.. will be a great weekend for spotting!

If their country is on red for us to visit; they shouldn't be visiting our country. 🤣

Lot of activity at Newquay this week. American military heavy lift carriers and yesterday japan’s ‘air force 1” equivalent.. I suspect more checking out over the weekend.
G7 plans and restrictions certainly hotting up.

Excellent Sunday watching state visitors leave Newquay. Air Force one taking off into clear blue Cornish skies was a treat for all.. well done to the airport, they handled it all spectacularly

Heads Up!

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?

I don't believe I am quite covering enough roles at work. Its now 4 on a bad day, 5 on a good day and there is scope for a 6th and 7th role. Still on minimum pay but had the biggest payrise in the company,
