Afternoon all, have just arrived at this site & wondering if it can answer a question for me.
Back in time, on 10-12-1981 to be precise, I was on a SWR flight from Zurich to Heathrow. Due to fog at Heathrow the flight was diverted to Manchester. All I know is that it was a DC9. Does anybody know where I can find out the flight number & registration of said Swissair flight please, or better per chance, have it to reasonable hand?
many thanks

Firstly #cruiserboxer welcome to F4A. Unfortunately I can't help you, however I will put some feelers out for you and see whether anybody can help - unless of course somebody comes back to you on this forum.

Beat me to it BlueManc. I found it courtesy of Ringway Publications (Mark Williams) excellent CD, - Diversions 1960-2010.
It's shown as an arrival of 17.48 but we won't quibble about 2 minutes.🙂

Many thanks guys for replying to my query so quickly. That may well have filled in a couple of gaps.👍
This CD quoted ( Ringway Publications (Mark Williams) excellent CD, - Diversions 1960-2010) seems a worth while bit of kit. Is it still available or able to be printed from & reproduced on this forum?

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
